True American Heroes Ride

Sunday, September 14, 2008 the American Legion Riders of Post 104 in Pinellas Park hosted their 8th Annual Chili Cookoff.

Chili heads from around the bay area showed up to taste and share their creations. The Riders had a great turn out this year. Over a dozen different varieties of chili was offered up for the culinary delight of the chili lovers who came.

The winners circle at the end of the event included Smokey and Charlene from Post 104. Krash won the hottest chili award. This year a new entrant from the Christian Motorcycle Association also walked off with a prize.

Everyone had a great time and we look forward to doing it again next year. Even Frank got up and danced on the tables. Good thing there wasn't a lampshade around or he'd have worn it.
