Post 104 Independence Day Parade
American Legion Riders Post 104
Pinellas Park, Florida
The American Legion Riders of Post 104 in Pinellas Park, Florida had the distinct honor of being invited to ride in the Independence Day Parade for Kenneth City. We assemblied at Dixie Hollins High School at 8:30 am and prepared ourselves for the ride through the beautiful little berg of Kenneth City. Riders who contributed to this event were Big Bob McGann, Joe Arms, Lowell St. Cyr "Saint", Frank Dolsak "Gunner", Bob Gleason, Ken Hoover and new member Dick. It was a special honor riding today with Dick who is a Korean War Veteran. Thanks for joining us Dick and I look forward to many more rides together.

After the event the American Legion Riders of
Post 104  rallyed at Ken Hoovers and shared a few brews  and some conversation.  It was a really hot morning and we had to stop on the way to let our engines cool down. By time we got to Ken's place everyone was ready for a brew or two . . . or three.
Happy birthday America, we love you.
It was a good morning and we got to see the people of Kenneth City from a different angle, the road. And the good thing is we didn't get any tickets, not even to the Policemen's Ball!
We stopped at Ken Hoovers Place after the event and swapped a bunch of lies. We got to meet Dick's wife and knock down a few beers. It was a welcome respite after a hard morning of riding, 2 mph through crowded neighborhoods. I wanted to thank Kenneth City on behalf of all the American Legion Riders of  Post 104 for remembering us and inviting us to their celebration of our Independence Day.  It was an honor to ride representing the American Legion  Post 104.
