Annual Law and Order Dinner
March 22, 2008

The American Legion Post 104 held it's annual Law and Order Dinner honoring Pinellas Park's finest. It was a large event this year with dignitaries from each of the Department's being honored.
Commander gave the opening statements and introduced the Mayor of Pinellas Park, the Department heads and the persons being awarded.
The Pinellas Park Police Officer of the year was awarded to Corporal Dean LoBianco. Police Chief Doreen Thomas summarized Corporal LoBianco tenure with the Pinellas Park Police Department and Commander Joe Arms gave him a statue recognizing his contributions to the community.
The next individual to be recognized was Pinellas Park Firefighter of the Year, Training Chief Guy Keirn. Recently promoted to Chief, Keirn has had a long and distinguished career in the Pinellas Park Fire Department.
The final winner was Pinellas Park Paramedic of the Year, Elliot Carhart. Elliot has only been with the department a few years but already proven himself to be a valuable asset to the city and public safety.
After the awards were made everyone enjoyed a fine dinner. Prime rib, twice baked potatoes and a desert were served.
The American Legion and the citizens of Pinellas Park wish to extend their thanks and gratitude to Corporal Dean LoBianco, Chief Guy Keirn and Paramedic Elliot Carhart for their service to the community. It is dedicated individuals such as these that make Pinellas Park, Florida such a fine place to life.
